Drink House Fire and Ice Bar is the coolest bar in South Beach (no pun intended)! On my latest visit to Miami I had to visit the Ice Bar, after seeing Renee on Mob Wives visit one in New York during the shows final season.
The Ice Bar only serves vodka drinks and is very popular so if you plan to go on the weekend it's recommended that you make reservations ahead of time. I went on a Wednesday evening around 7 pm and got right in. You do have to be 21 Y/O to drink of course but all ages are welcomed (kids are allowed in before 7 p.m. with an adult according their website) Upon arrival you pay for entry (about $18) and purchase your drink ticket packages which start around $18 for two tickets. Drink tickets are priced according to the brand of vodka used (normal bar practices) they have a range from Premium down to well you know lol. They have a list of signature cocktails most of which are fruity flavored but contained a lot of alcohol (yassss lol). I ended up spending about $45 during my visit with gratuity and all. The drink tickets are color coded so that the bar tender knows which brand to use for your cocktails so don't worry about having to remember whacha need to order at the bar. Next you get all wrapped up in fluffy faux fur coat, socks, furry boots and gloves, so no worries if you're wearing sandals.
I'm always chilly so I wore a jumpsuit with long pants because the thought of my legs being bare in a 23-degree Ice Bar is a no ma'am! Anywho, they only allow a small group of people in the ice bar at a time (it is a small area) and you are given about 45 mins inside. However, I only lasted for about 15-20 mins (about the same amount of time as my phone battery, more on that later) I was bundled up but I still felt like a human popsicle?! Inside is super cool *giggles* the bench, the sculptures, even the drink glasses are made of ice! They do play music (j.i.c you were wondering), have colorful lights flashing and the cutest ice cream cone on the wall. I was frozen solid but having a great time until my iphone died due to the temperature of the bar (yea it happens to most people while inside). I did get some great pics though before that. Once my phone died #ThePartyWasOver so I left the ice bar and was kindly taken out front by the staff and warmed up by the fire torches that were outside.

Next time I hit SoBe I'm definitively going back to the Ice Bar. It was definitely not your average bar and the staff were super friendly and showed us a good time. It is located at 1672 Collins Ave Miami Beach, FL. They are open from Monday through Thursday 6 pm till about 2:30 am, Friday from 6 pm till about 3: 30 am, Saturday from 5 pm until 3:30 AM, and Sunday from 5 pm until about 2:30 AM. For more info check out their website.
Have you ever visited the Ice Bar or do you plan on going? I'd love to know comment below or hit me up on Instagram.
