For Valentines Day I received a gorgeous rose bouquet that I wished would last forever! I didn't want to shell out the cash to have them professionally freeze dried though #ijs *giggles*! So I did my research and decided that I would learn how to dry flowers myself. The flower drying process takes a couple weeks but it's sooo worth it if you want to keep those flowers from your S.O., hubby, graduation well you get the picture...
Next time you receive a bouquet that you want to turn into a dried floral arrangement just follow these simple instructions...
You Will Need:

String or Rubber Bands
Scissors
Clothes Hangers
Just when the flowers begin to die gather your flower bouquet into a bunch and secure the stems with a rubber band or string (remember to handle your flowers gently dolls). You can also hang each flower individually if you don't want any of them to lose their shape from being too close to one another. Hang them upside down in a well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight, like an empty closet or corner of the basement. The petals will shrink, change color, and within a few weeks you'll have beautiful dried flowers!
Now you can display your dry flowers in a vase, shadow box or display case to preserve the memories. Have you ever dried flowers or will you give it a go now? I'd like to know so hit me up on the gram or comment below.
XoXo-
Brandi
